Our idea aims to remove the barriers created by the pandemic and brings art with a personal touch that tailored specifically to you. With our contactless virtual art gallery, anyone can view artistic work from professional, talented artists. Meanwhile, we also provide higher demand buyers with an auction to purchase their favourite artworks, particularly using cryptocurrency transactions in the deal.
Firstly, we provide our user with the most comprehensive and authentic explanation along the tour. Secondly, we provide our user with “Sample Package” that would contain some small artificial specimens that we reproduce from the art material in the gallery. Therefore, they can touch and feel the texture to get a real feeling and atmosphere when enjoying the artwork virtually. Finally, we provide artist opportunities for showcases: They will all have personal space for their detailed portfolio information, as well as chances to get their artwork sold at the ending auction. Since this project aimed to scope the next 10 years, we are going to incorporate cryptocurrency in our trading system of the auction, instead of cash and credit card people mostly use now. This will also be the biggest challenge of our concept, because In addition to the lack of regulation and inactive obligations, cryptocurrencies also face obstacles to implementation. This technology is an emerging technology that is still immature in a system where other options are widely scalable and accepted. Hence, one of our most important goal is to make buyers & artists feel trustworthy and responsible toward our company in the process of transaction.

I’m a fourth-year media production student at Ryerson University. I’m the CEO and technical part of the company. I’m proficient at planning and organizing, a team player, and easygoing in the working environment. I am most known for responsibility and self-discipline, my willingness to take initiative, and cooperation in my education, social and professional life.
LINDA ZHAO - CFO
I’m Linda Zhao, a second-year media production student at the Ryerson University. As the co-founder and chief financial officer of IC ART INC., I have a relatively solid background in finance and accounting, as well as a strong mind when facing difficulties in work & life.
SHIRLEY GAO - COO
I’m Shirley Gao, a second-year Media Production student at Ryerson University. I’m the co-founder and the website designer for IC ART INC. I’m interested in audio and video production. I’m experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects. I’m passionate in any creative art process and open to meet and collaborate with people over the work.
